MR04 and MR05, the gulf sisters — Two Porsche 911 Restomods that set the tone.
With MR04 The Judge and MR05 Echoes, the French workshop Machine Revival signed the first chapter of its story. Built in 2013 on the base of two 1985 Porsche 911 3.2, these Restomod projects laid the foundation for the Signature MR philosophy.
Designed for both long road trips and spirited track days among friends, they embody a vision that blends the Porsche heritage with the joy of driving and a modern, meticulous design approach.
This duo is inseparable — a symbol of the genesis of the MR Porsche Restomod series. To this day, they accompany the team, continually evolving and reflecting the Machine Revival DNA in its purest form.

Design
Nicknamed the Gulf Twins for their iconic blue and orange liveries, these 911s evoke both vintage racing and refined aesthetics. MR04 The Judge, the first to hit the road, made an immediate statement — like a verdict. Close behind came MR05 Echoes, resonating like a musical response on wheels.
Crafted with metal, leather, fiberglass, aluminum, and wood, each cockpit was fully tailored, with every material chosen for its feel, texture, and contribution to the driver’s experience. These two Porsche 911 Restomods already displayed all the Machine Revival codes: clean lines, sporty character, balanced volumes, and exquisite finish.
Performance & Driving Experience
Lightened to just 950 kg and powered by a 250 hp 3.2-liter flat-six, MR04 and MR05 deliver pure, instinctive driving pleasure. With a manual gearbox, sharp dynamics, and a distinctive soundtrack, these Porsche 911 Restomods are built for the open road and the track alike.
Every aspect of these one-off machines was crafted in-house: bodywork, upholstery, mechanicals, design, electrics — a total work of automotive craftsmanship under the artistic and mechanical direction of Nicolas Quiles. They mark the beginning of a long legacy of custom-built excellence.
